No. Macadamia nuts have a specific, well-described toxicity in dogs (weakness, tremors). Almonds are mainly a fat, salt and choking problem, unless they are coated with chocolate or xylitol.
Can dogs eat almond butter?
Only if the jar is plain, unsalted, and xylitol-free. Even then, a smear is plenty because of fat. Many “natural” butters are still too rich.
What about almond flour baked goods?
The flour itself is not xylitol, but cookies often hide chocolate, raisins, nutmeg, xylitol or lots of butter. Do not share baked goods unless every ingredient is known and safe.
