A filled-in part in a photo is static cling and pigment. It does not miniaturise in reverse. The Drug Facts panel never listed “then shake fibers into the foam.”

Cosmetic hair-building fibers (often keratin or cotton plus charge) sit on shafts and wash out. Topical minoxidil is a leave-on vasodilator-class OTC for pattern loss when used as labelled. If you apply fibers onto a wet alcohol-glycol film, you glue a mess to the pillow and dilute the labelled dose. The American Academy of Dermatology still separates medical therapy from camouflage (fibers, wigs, SMP). This page is not a brand review and not medical advice.

Morning: minoxidil, wait until dry to the touch, then fibers, then gentle combing. Evening: wash fibers out before the next minoxidil if the carton wants a clean scalp. Do not use fibers as a reason to skip the drug. If you have seborrheic scale, fibers can cake — treat the scale.

Fibers in the eye are an irritant. Same as minoxidil: keep the orbital rim clear. This is not medical advice.

FAQ

Do fibers block absorption?

A thick crust of fibers on wet vehicle is a bad experiment. Dry first. Fibers are not a penetration enhancer.

Will swimming ruin both?

Water rinses fibers and can rinse leftover minoxidil. Re-apply drugs on a dry scalp per the label after you rinse.

Are fibers a transplant alternative?

No. They camouflage. Grafts and SMP are other files. Fibers do not create density in bald skin with no shafts.

Color match forever?

Gray-out and sun fade mismatch. That is cosmetics, not a reason to change minoxidil millilitres.
